Congratulations to Ashleigh Fagan (harp) and Amy Campbell (uilleann pipes) for the wonderful performance they gave at the Corfheile na Scoileanna on March 5th where they performed Eibhin Gheal Cuin Ni Chearbh, Blind Mary, The Eagles Whistle and Snow on the Hill representing Rosmini Community School. Ashleigh and Amy would like to thank their teacher and organiser Ms Mc Gorman for all the support and for providing them once again with this great opportunity.
Rosmini is delighted to be involved in the DCU UniTY programme. UniTY is a skills based programme specifically aimed at Transition Year students. It has been designed to increase student engagement in education and raise motivation and career aspirations and broaden students' world view. The curriculum is made up of Multimedia & Social Innovation, Smart Skills, Employability & Leadership and Student Empowerment. Other classes benefit through Maths quizzes, "Junior Discover" pathways to third level, DCU "Summer Scholars" programme, rugby and soccer blitzes.
