In our first event of Wellbeing Week, 2nd year students explored the tools that are needed to make lasting healthy choices and break old habits. They learned that what we put into our bodies affects how well our body feels and looks, influencing our future health and wellness. Students looked at the five main nutritional aims, which includes eating a balanced diet, supporting energy levels and mood, supporting digesting health and elimination and supporting the hormonal and immune system. After completing a healthy eating plate, students watched a clip of Supersize Versus Superskinny Kids. Fresh fruit was served at the end of the event.
