The Dublin School Championships were held in Colaiste Eoin on Wednesday, 27th November and Rosmini Community School did quite well. Amy Lynch and Mary McGovern won gold and silver in the Senior girls under 52kg category. Conor Madden achieved gold in his weight category. Dean Moore won bronze in the Junior boys under 90kgs and in the Open. Paul Geoghegan won one fight with an excellent hold down.

Rosmini is delighted to be involved in the DCU UniTY programme. UniTY is a skills based programme specifically aimed at Transition Year students. It has been designed to increase student engagement in education and raise motivation and career aspirations and broaden students' world view. The curriculum is made up of Multimedia & Social Innovation, Smart Skills, Employability & Leadership and Student Empowerment. Other classes benefit through Maths quizzes, "Junior Discover" pathways to third level, DCU "Summer Scholars" programme, rugby and soccer blitzes.
