A unique aspect of life at Rosmini Community School is that all of our 1st year students get the opportunity to experience horse riding in the Equestrian Centre in ChildVision. The module lasts about ten weeks and all of the necessary equipment is provided. This is very popular among our first years as many of them have never been on a horse in their lives before coming to Rosmini.
Rosmini is delighted to be involved in the DCU UniTY programme. UniTY is a skills based programme specifically aimed at Transition Year students. It has been designed to increase student engagement in education and raise motivation and career aspirations and broaden students' world view. The curriculum is made up of Multimedia & Social Innovation, Smart Skills, Employability & Leadership and Student Empowerment. Other classes benefit through Maths quizzes, "Junior Discover" pathways to third level, DCU "Summer Scholars" programme, rugby and soccer blitzes.
