Rosmini is delighted to be involved in the DCU UniTY programme. UniTY is a skills based programme specifically aimed at Transition Year students. It has been designed to increase student engagement in education and raise motivation and career aspirations and broaden students' world view. The curriculum is made up of Multimedia & Social Innovation, Smart Skills, Employability & Leadership and Student Empowerment. Other classes benefit through Maths quizzes, "Junior Discover" pathways to third level, DCU "Summer Scholars" programme, rugby and soccer blitzes. Seachtain na Gaeilge - Events
The school took part in Lá Glas Dé hAoine 13ú Márta - students wore green and spoke ‘as Gaeilge.’Special mention to those who do not have Gaeilge but took part. Students who used Gaeilge on the day were given a raffle ticket . The winner was Sonia Moore. In the Canteen at break and lunch Aisling Coombes, Yasemin Guven agus Jade Donnery quizzed students on their knowledge of ‘Teasc Gaeilge’ - Correct answers got spot prizes During the week:
Gaeilge 24
18 students are taking part in Gaeilge 24 on 13th November. It's a national event taking place where students talk As Gaeilge all day. Watch out for the yellow t-shirts. More information is available here!
