Beatles Tour 2014
On Wednesday, 12th November, students from the 6th year music class, Ms Mc Swiney and David Larkin flew to Liverpool for the Beatles Experience. We visited the Beatles Story museum and the fab 4D experience on the docks. We did the magical mystery bus tour on the Thursday. On this tour we visited various places of interest to the Beatles like; where they grew up, schools they attended, the hall where they met and rehearsed, places they composed, strawberry fields, Eleanor Rigby's grave and Penny Lane.We also attended a gig in the Cavern Club on Wednesday evening.
6th Year Music Class - Beatles Trip 2012
We spent the first day going from the 'The Beatles story museum' which is on one end of Albert dock, to the 'Fab 4 experience' on the other side. This was a 3D story which had the Beatles top tunes playing throughout. We also visited the Titanic exhibition on that day as it was a recent edition to the docks and we all had an interest in this ship's tragic history.
