Rosmini Community School will be holding Engineering Week from February 29th to March 6th. In conjunction with Engineers Ireland STEPS programme, Mr Mc Namara will have a number of events & competitions that will help promote Engineering throughout the school.

Rosmini Community School has produced a large number of successful Engineers since it started as a subject in 1981. We are continuing this tradition to this day. Engineering Week will showcase the history behind Engineering all the way to what the future will hold.

Keep an eye on our twitter page and this website for information of events in the school and some competitions too.

Below are details of two competitions that are currently running for Junior & Senior students;

Juniors (1st, 2nd & 3rd Years) are being asked to redesign an everyday object from home or school and put details of this in a poster.

Seniors (4th, 5th & 6th Years) are being asked to write a brief report on how engineering & technology will benefit the fields of health, housing or education in the future.

As next week is Engineering week & also exam week, the closing dates for competition entries will be extended to March 13th. All entries must be submitted to Mr Mc Namara. Best of Luck to everyone………
