Our 6th-year students recently returned from an enjoyable field study at Kippure Estate, where they conducted a comprehensive river survey. Immersed in the stunning natural surroundings of the Wicklow Mountains, students collected vital data to prove fluvial processes are shaping our landscape. Through hands-on activities and teamwork, they developed skills for working in the field as well as a deeper understanding of the processes at work in our natural environment. Students even had time to make a few TikToks. Thanks to all who orgainsed the trip.
