Today the 4th of March 2025,  a number of volunteers from Meta visited the school to talk about the various career oportunities in the business and other similiar industries.  The students were broken into groups and each group spoke to an industrial professional for 15 minutes. The groups then changed. One mentor for example spoke about Data Centres In Ireland and the new ones been built around the world. He also spoke about the different careers these centres can provide and their use in a digital economy. The students  enjoyed some  doughnuts while they listened, answered questions and posed questions of there own. Thanks to Mr Darbey who organised the event and all who helped out on the day.  Thanks also to Meta who gave of their time from their busy schedules to come and talk to us.  Thank you.
