Welcome to the Rosmini Community School website. We hope that as we increase the information on this website over the course of the academic year 2019/20 that it will provide an overview of our school and give a flavour of day to day life here at Rosmini Community School, Drumcondra.

Rosmini Community School, located in the heart of Drumcondra, is a post-primary school under the patronage of the Rosminian Order and the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee. The school made the exciting move to co-education commencing in September 2002 by enrolling both boys and girls into 1st year.

Rosmini Community School has the approval of the Department of Education and Skills to operate a special class(s) for students with a visual impairment. Students who avail of the special class facility do so in order to access the mainstream curriculum with the additional supports available at Rosmini Community School.

It is our mission to provide high quality education within a caring and creative community which values each individual and enables everybody to reach their full potential and to grow in maturity and self-confidence. We are committed to success, raising expectations, providing opportunities and striving to meet the needs of all. The school challenges each of our students to aim high, not only academically, but in the hopes and values they will carry forward as they shape the community and environment of the future.

Our school values the talents and abilities of each of our students both within and outside the classroom situation. Students are encouraged to become involved in activities and to help with or participate in various school events. This enhances the student’s experience of school and promotes self-confidence and self-esteem.

It is a privilege to lead this successful school and to work with such enthusiastic students, committed staff and supportive parents.

I look forward to welcoming you to Rosmini Community School.
