Preparing for the World of Work Week 2021
Transition Year and Leaving Cert Applied students in Rosmini Community School will be participating in Preparing for the World of Work Week from Friday 15th to Friday 22nd October 2021. This week has been organised in lieu of real-time work placements, which cannot take place this term due the pandemic.
Thanks to the creative input of teachers and outside organisations, we have planned very exciting lessons that will enable our students to investigate a range of careers, create their CV, develop interview skills, know how to conduct a job search, meet professionals from the working world, learn more about possible career opportunities and sample different jobs through interactive workshops and project work. The aim of this week is to equip students with the knowledge, understanding, skills and attitudes that will best prepare them for working life.
